KidZania Aviation Academy: Where Dreams Take Flight
Since its launch in January 2024, the KidZania Aviation Academy has become a popular destination, attracting over 50,000 children to participate in its experiences. It’s known not only as an exciting role-playing playground but also as a place to nurture the passion of potential young pilots.
Vietnam Airlines welcomes visitors to the land of wonder
From the moment visitors step into KidZania Hanoi, they are immediately impressed by the image of a real Boeing aircraft at the entrance, featuring the distinctive branding of Vietnam National Airlines.
The immigration area is vividly recreated as a miniature airport, complete with waiting areas, entrances to queues, and bustling check-in counters. Professional “flight attendants” in Vietnam Airlines uniforms are diligently assisting passengers with the check-in process at the ticket counter. Every detail is meticulously crafted, creating a realistic feeling as if the children are about to board a flight to a new land, where they can freely explore, learn, and role-play their dream profession in their own world.
Become a potential young pilot at KidZania Aviation Academy
Besides the airport ticket counter, children also have exciting experiences at the KidZania Aviation Academy located in the park. Dressed in Vietnam Airlines uniforms, the little ones begin their journey to conquer and explore the skies.
Each experience session lasts approximately 20 minutes with a maximum of 6 participants. With the assistance of an instructor, children learn about flight safety and how to operate an aircraft in a cockpit with modern equipment that is simulated just like the real thing.
Upon completion of the training course, the young pilots will directly participate in a flight from Noi Bai Airport to one of three different locations, including Ho Chi Minh City, Seoul (South Korea), and Paris (France). Throughout the journey, they will apply their newly learned knowledge to operate the control panel like a real Vietnam Airlines pilot, while also being prepared to handle unforeseen situations and hone their reflexes when faced with unexpected weather changes.
