GenZania introduces two trial sessions before its official launch
GenZania – a new product from KidZania Hanoi – is designed for the GenZ customer segment. Recently, GenZania held two trial sessions before its official launch.
What is GenZania?
GenZania is a job-themed entertainment area for high school and college students located on the 5th floor of Lotte Mall Tay Ho, Hanoi. This is a new product soon to be launched by MBC PlayBe Vietnam, the company currently operating KidZania Hanoi.
Inspired by real-life board games, GenZania is designed as a giant “board game city” specifically for Gen Z. Here, players aged 18-25 will roll dice with their teammates, move through areas, and complete tasks in a gameplay style similar to Monopoly.

Beyond just entertainment, GenZania offers a multi-disciplinary role-playing experience in a realistic simulation environment. Each “square” presents a different challenge – from deciphering mysterious quests and testing your intelligence with brain-teasing mini-games to collaborating with teammates to achieve common goals.
With a spirit of connection, exploration, and conquest, GenZania promises to become a completely new playground where young people can both have fun and develop strategic thinking, teamwork skills, and adaptability in creative and unexpected experiences.
Overview of the two recent GenZania experience sessions
Prior to its official launch, scheduled for April 2026, GenZania successfully held two trial sessions to introduce its completely new entertainment model to the Gen Z community and gather real-world feedback to refine the product.
The first experience session took place on March 13, 2026 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), attracting nearly 150 young participants. The event was free and exclusively for student groups from university clubs. This was an opportunity for players to experience a real-life “board game” model combined with role-playing in a GenZania environment.

Following that success, the second experience session on March 27, 2026 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM) recorded nearly 300 participants, including students who register for GenZania experience freely, along with the participation of KOCs/KOLs. With a discounted price of 110,000 VND/person (50% off the original price) and many attractive activities, the event attracted attention and received much interest from young people.

Reviews from GenZania participants
After two trial sessions, GenZania received much positive feedback from participants. The content was praised for being fun, innovative, and providing a sense of both practicality and entertainment. The GenZania “city” space also scored points for its modernity, spaciousness, and many beautiful photo opportunities.
Ngoc Tram (18 years old) shared: “What I liked most was the feeling of being able to transform into many different roles; each area had its own task, so it wasn’t boring. Going with friends made it even more fun.”
Meanwhile, Thai Son (22 years old) said: “The space here is very beautiful and creative, and the content is also interesting. This is a practical activity, and it’s also very suitable for gathering with friends and having new experiences.”

Alongside positive feedback, GenZania also noted some suggestions from participants. Some players wished to reduce the waiting time for each game, while others suggested adding map examples for easier location identification. Additionally, there were suggestions to diversify the missions to increase the challenge.
GenZania ticket prices and official launch date
GenZania is scheduled to officially open in April 2026, promising to become a fresh new entertainment destination for young people in Hanoi.
