Land of kool kidZ
Founded in 1997 in Mexico by Mr. Xavier Lopez Ancona, as of 2023, KidZania has 26 locations across 17 countries, including Japan, South Korea, India, Qatar, the United States, and recently, Vietnam.
The name KidZania comes from combining the word “kid” which is short for the German word “kinder” or children, “zany” in Anglo-Saxon English, which means wittiness, wackiness, or fun, with the Latin suffix “ania” meaning “land of”. KidZania is literally “land of kool kidZ”.
In addition, KidZania is also continuing to expand and develop 10 new facilities in other potential markets. Since opening its first facility in 1999, KidZania has welcomed more than 100 million visitors and 1,000 partners worldwide. Currently, KidZania has become one of the leading educational-entertainment brands in the world.
